Blood Donation Camp organized at Multani Mal Modi College Patiala: September 28, 2023 A Voluntary Blood Donation Camp was held at local M. M. Modi College, Patiala to spread the message of ‘Khoondaan-Mahadaan’ and to meet the emergency requirement of blood for increasing number of dengue patients at Government Rajindra Medical College, Patiala.
This camp was organized by the NSS, NCC units ( Army and Air wings) and Red Ribbon Club of the College under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Khushvinder Kumar and was supervised by a medical team from Govt. Rajindra Hospital, Patiala. The camp was inaugurated by college Principal Dr. Khushvinder Kumar. Addressing the blood donors, he said that these blood units are going to act as lifeline for many patients of dengue, other illnesses and accident victims. He appreciated the efforts of students and college staff for making this camp a success.
A team of doctors led by Dr.Maninder Kaur and Sh. Sukhvinder Singh and their team members made meticulous arrangements for collecting donated blood. 50 units of blood were donated by the volunteers. 15 girl students and the teachers of the College Dr. Sumeet Kumar, Dr Rajeev Sharma, and Prof. Veerpal Kaur and Our lab attendants Varinder Singh, Madan Kumar and Vishal also donated the blood. Dr. Monika Garg, Head, Department of Immuno-hematology and Blood Transfusion, Government Rajindra College and Hospital, Patiala were also present in this camp.
NSS Programme Officers Dr. Rajeev Sharma (Nodal Officer, Red Ribbon Club) Prof. (Mrs.) Jagdeep Kaur and NCC Officers – Dr. Rohit Sachdeva, and Dr. Sumeet Kumar make special efforts to make this camp a grand success. They motivated the students and said that donating blood is the noblest act of service to the humanity. The NSS volunteers Yash, Sayam Mittal, Ayush Verma, Kartik, Shubhangani, Somya and Deepanshu worked hard to make this camp a success. All volunteers were felicitated with certificates and medals.
ਮੁਲਤਾਨੀ ਮੱਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿਖੇ ਖੂਨਦਾਨ ਕੈਂਪ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ: 28/09/2023 ਸਥਾਨਕ ਮੁਲਤਾਨੀ ਮੱਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਵਿੱਖੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਡੇਂਗੂ ਮਰੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੱਧ ਰਹੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਦੇ ਮੱਦੇ-ਨਜ਼ਰ ਅਤੇ ‘ਖੂਨਦਾਨ-ਮਹਾਂਦਾਨ’ ਦੇ ਸੰਕਲਪ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ, ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਐਨ.ਐਸ.ਐਸ, ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ. ਵਿੰਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਰੈੱਡ ਰਿਬਨ ਅਲਤਮੇਨੂ ਕਲੱਬ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਖੁਸ਼ਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਸੁਚੱਜੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਰਜਿੰਦਰਾ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਤੋਂ ਪਹੁੰਚੀ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਟੀਮ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਹੇਠ ਇੱਕ ਖੂਨਦਾਨ ਕੈਂਪ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਕੈਂਪ ਦਾ ਰਸਮੀ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਖੁਸ਼ਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਖੂਨਦਾਨ ਕੈਂਪਾਂ ਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਬਲੱਡ ਬੈਂਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਬਿਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮਰੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੱਧ ਰਹੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਦੇ ਮੱਦੇ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਘੱਟ ਰਹੀ ਬਲੱਡ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਯਤਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ, ਉਥੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੂਨਦਾਨ ਵਰਗੇ ਮਹਾਂ-ਦਾਨ ਦੀ ਸਾਰਥਕਤਾ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਜਾਣੂ ਕਰਵਾਉਣਾ ਹੈ।
ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਰਾਜਿੰਦਰਾ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਤੋਂ ਡਾ. ਮਨਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਦੀ ਅਗੁਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਪਹੁੰਚੀ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਟੀਮ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਸੁਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਖੂਨਦਾਨੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਮੁੱਚੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਦੀ ਦੇਖ-ਰੇਖ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸ ਕੈਂਪ ਵਿੱਚ 50 ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰਜ਼ ਨੇ ਖੂਨਦਾਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀ ਵੱਡਮੁੱਲੀ ਦਾਨੀ ਪ੍ਰੰਪਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਇਮ ਰੱਖਿਆ। ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਵਰਗ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਡਾ. ਰਾਜੀਵ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਡਾ. ਸੁਮੀਤ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਵੀਰਪਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਲੈਂਬ ਐਟਡੈਂਟ ਵਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ,ਮਦਨ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਨੇ ਖੂਨਦਾਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ।ਕੈਂਪ ਵਿੱਚ 15 ਗਰਲਜ਼ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਖੁਨਦਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ।ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਰਾਜਿੰਦਰਾ ਕਾਲਜ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਇਮਅੂਨੋ-ਹੈਪੈਟੋਲੌਜੀ ਐਂਡ ਬਲੱਡ ਟਰਾਂਸਫਿਊਜ਼ਨ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਪ੍ਰੋ (ਡਾ.) ਮੋਨਿਕਾ ਗਰਗ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਕੈਂਪ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਰਾਨ ਵੱਜੋਂ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ।
ਇਸ ਕੈਂਪ ਨੂੰ ਸਫ਼ਲਤਾਪੂਰਵਕ ਨੇਪਰੇ ਚਾੜ੍ਹਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਐਨ.ਐਸ.ਐਸ. ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਡਾ. ਰਾਜੀਵ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਡਾ. ਹਰਮੋਹਨ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਜਗਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਦਾ ਖਾਸ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਰਿਹਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਾਰੀ ਖੂਨਦਾਨ ਕਿਸੇ ਬਿਮਾਰ ਲਈ ਦੂਜਾ ਜਨਮ ਮਿਲਣ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਕੈਂਪ ਲਗਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਦਵਾਇਆ। ਐਨ.ਐਸ.ਐਸ. ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰਾਂ ਯਸ਼, ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਮਿੱਤਲ, ਆਯੂਸ਼ ਵਰਮਾ, ਕਾਰਤਿਕ, ਸ਼ੁਭਾਂਗਿਨੀ , ਸੌਮਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਦੀਪਾਸ਼ੂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਖੂਨਦਾਨ ਕੈਂਪ ਨੂੰ ਸਫ਼ਲਤਾਪੂਰਵਕ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਖੂਨਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਟੀਫਿਕੇਟ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਡਲ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
